The 5-day-a-week English Teaching Program offers a rewarding experience for backpackers passionate about education, community development, and cultural immersion. Based at the forest school in Aik Berik Tourism Village, Central Lombok, the program focuses on improving students’ English-speaking skills through interactive and outdoor learning. Participants will gain hands-on experience in teaching, lesson planning, and understanding the dynamics of rural education.
By working closely with local tutors and community members, backpackers help students gain confidence in speaking English while experiencing authentic village life surrounded by nature.

Requirements
Minimum age: 18 years old (depending on the organizer’s policy).
Participants must be in good physical and mental health and free from serious illnesses.
Must complete a health or personal information form before the program begins.
No alcohol or recreational drugs are allowed during the program.
Must follow all briefings and instructions given by the coordinator or tutor.
Participants without prior teaching experience can still join under the guidance of tutors or local mentors.
Expected to maintain professionalism and respect local culture and community norms throughout the program.
