This program is designed to support our educational and community development initiatives through direct local participation, without relying on external sponsors. Your involvement directly contributes to the continuity and success of this grassroots effort. Created for budget-conscious backpackers (saving up to 70%), the program utilizes locally owned accommodations, home-cooked meals, and community-based activities. This ensures that the economic benefits stay within local families rather than large tourism corporations. By joining us in this English teaching initiative, your presence not only helps improve education quality, but also strengthens community capacity and promotes local empowerment in rural Lombok. Through your contribution, you will help enhance English education, foster cultural exchange, and create a lasting positive impact on both the students and the local community.

General Information:

This 5-days-per-week English Teaching Program offers a meaningful experience for backpackers passionate about education and cultural immersion. Located at Bright Course Lantan, Central Lombok, the program focuses on improving students’ English skills through interactive learning and community-based teaching. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of language education methods, community-based learning, and the challenges of rural education. By working alongside local tutors and community members, you will directly contribute to improving students’ language skills and confidence while experiencing authentic local life in Lombok.

Rules:

• Teaching under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
• Leaving program activities without permission is not allowed.
• Be punctual and attend all scheduled sessions.
• Immediately report any discomfort or issues during the program.
• Coordinators have the authority to restrict participation if ethical or program rules are violated.
